Snapshot of Carleton Station - September 21, 2020

This old Carleton University stone bridge was built early last century for a small railway to quarry soil from here, under Trillium Line to fill in Brewer Park area marshland. Being widened for Stage 2 double track here.

As part of Stage 2 contract, a new bike/pedestrian bridge over the Rideau River will be built to the right of Ghandi, parallel to the single track Trillium Line.
