Algonquin Station will be located underground, in an already existing tunnel created when the Algonquin College ACCE building was built on the old Baseline Station grounds. The current area being excavated is for one of the two station entrances, which will feature a pedestrian overpass to connect into the ACCE building of the college.
Lincoln Fields will be the western most transfer point for O-Train Lines 1 (to Algonquin) and Line 3 (to Moodie). Trains arriving from the east will emerge from a tunneled guideway into the station. Heading west, the tracks will split to serve both lines, with Line 1 passing underneath Line 3 (which will make use of a rail flyover, as shown in the lower images).
Aerial shots of Pinecrest Station. You can see the start of the station trench to the left in the first photo below. This will allow trains to pass underneath the Pinecrest overpass.
This grade-separated rail bridge that passes over Holly Acres road will allow train to travel between Bayshore and Moodie Stations, without being impacted by traffic flowing beneath.
This two platform station as always, continues to see a high level of activity, with foundations starting to be formed, and the rock-cut sidewalls of the trench being secured for the steps to follow.
